A former Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority
(NPA) Engr. Omar Suleiman has joined Port Notel Ocean Terminal project in Ibeno
LGA of Akwa Ibom, Management/Technical Team.
According to a statement by Mr Victor Akpanika, Managing
Director, Port Notel, an indigenous port development firm on Tuesday, Suleiman
was appointed as Port Infrastructure Development Consultant.
He is expected to provide guidance for the speedy realization
of Nigeria’s 1st OFF-Shore greenfield deep sea port project.
According to the statement Port Notel will leverage on
Suleiman’s expertise in Ports Administration and Management, Ports, Maritime Infrastructure
Concession and development, Logistics Supply,Strategic Planning amongst others.

Mrs. Ekemini Ema Gbole-Wikina, Principal Consultant of
Faith HRD Projects Ltd, also joined the Management/Technical Team as Human
Resource Development Adviser and Consultant.
She is expected to align the company’s vision to global best
practices in Employee Development and Workplace Learning, Organizational Culture
and Performance, Business Process Improvement & Reengineering.
Part of Gbole-Wikina’s tasks will also include Organizational
Communication, Business Ethics and Etiquettes, Conference & Events Coordination,
Personnel Employability enhancement and Employees Career Progression and
Development.
She holds Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from University
of Port Harcourt, and Master’s degree in Human Resource Development (HRD),
University of Leicester, United Kingdom.
