The management of Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited and the Nigerian Navy have expressed commitment to join forces to increase Nigeria's oil and gas output.
Renaissance, a consortium of indigenous firms in March 2025 acquired the onshore and shallow water assets hitherto operated by Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria following divestment by Shell UK PLC.
A statement by Mr Michael Adande, Spokesman of the company on Wednesday noted the firm expressed the view when it paid a courtesy visit to the Headquarters of the Nigerian Navy in Abuja, to reiterate the company’s commitment to continue to collaborate with key government institutions in the drive to improve Nigeria’s production and export of oil and gas from the Niger Delta.
